I always recommend investing in yourself first. Solid financial education is key. Next, I find the best investment to be in my own company. With my money there, I have control over many variables including expenses and marketing. I can also shield most of my income from taxes this way. While I then prefer real estate investing over other vehicles to invest in, I am an active investor in other commodities including precious metals(gold/silver) and stocks. The reasons I prefer real estate investing to other vehicles is that it has great potential to leverage with OPM(other people’s money), it provides cash flow(money in your pocket on a regular basic), and it has AMAZING tax advantages.
